iXTUR Magnetic Grippers
iXTUR pneumatically powered magnetic technology is based on bi-stable permanent magnets, which can remain in either of their two states ("hold" or "release") without using energy. The switching can be controlled by pneumatic operation and requires very little energy to operate. Function of the pneumatic magnets are based on neodymium permanent magnet technology.
Ixtur MAP and MRP Series Pneumatic Magnets do not change their magnetic state if compressed air power is lost - e.g. in case of a damaged compressed air lines or compressor malfunction. This feature provides reliability and safety to material handling and robotic applications.
Unlike vacuum lifting solutions, Ixtur MAP and MRP series magnets can handle a variety different geometric parts including perforated materials. The magnets consume significantly less air than vacuum grippers
